Scorpion Foundation and BBKSDASU Sign a Cooperation Agreement for 5 Years Duration (May 12, 2026)

Medan: – The Scorpion Indonesia Foundation and the Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BBKSDASU) signed a Cooperation Agreement in the auditorium of the Polonia Hotel, Medan, on Tuesday (May 12, 2026). This Cooperation Agreement is intended to support the government’s efforts to strengthen conservation areas by monitoring illegal wildlife poaching and trade, and conserving Macaque within the North Sumatra province.

The Cooperation Agreement has been under discussion at the BBKSDASU office since mid-last year, beginning with a presentation of the Cooperation Plan at the Batang Toru Ecosystem Area to protect biodiversity and address macaque conflicts throughout North Sumatra province.

This Cooperation Agreement is valid for five years and will cease in 2029.

Another NGO TAHUKAH also signed an agreement with the BBKSDASU for wildlife protection in North Sumatra province.
